The International Class
At this time, there are one International Class at ebs Paris. It is composed of students who have wanted to join the class and do all five years of their studies in English. This means that they are each intrinsically motivated to do well in their studies and this shows in the work we do with them.
There is a selection process which is designed to ensure that each student has the linguistic competence as well as the motivation to join the group. They are tested on their spoken as well as their written English and many of them come from international backgrounds; they are foreign, they have conducted some of their studies in foreign environments or they are from bi-national families. The most important asset is that they are ready to study in English, as some of them could choose the easier solution of following the EBS programme in French.
The International Class follows exactly the course of the ebs Paris French programme. A week, for example in first year, is comprised of courses in Law, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, Culture and foreign languages. Courses of Law, Accounting and Economics are taught from both the French and Anglo-Saxon approaches which means that they have more work to cover more approaches. However, the academic level of the students does not suffer; on the contrary.
The faculty is made up of international professors from the UK, the United States and a number of other nationalities. This allows the students to benefit from an international teaching approach and they are able to learn a great deal about the cultures of many countries. Their self-confidence is built up around a number of activities including presentations and international projects. Their participation in the classes is exceptional and their learning is done both formally and informally.

The International Class is first of all a melting pot filled with people coming from all around the world. It creates a social, cultural and linguistic diversity. You’re confronted with people speaking Chinese, Spanish or Moroccan fluently. The people in the class are all open-minded, we all accept each other for whom we are and we have a great team spirit as we all support each other. We also have all of our courses and case studies in English and it gives us the opportunity to improve our English like no other way. We even found ourselves speaking English between each other without even noticing it. Thus, I personally think the International Class is a good way to improve the way you think.
