eMail EMAIL ACCOUNTS

All EBS Paris students, faculty, and staff have their own ebs-paris.com email account, that can be accessed by webmail or from a email client installed on their computer. Since July 2011, the ebs-paris.com email is hosted by Microsoft Live@edu for education.

Mise à niveau vers Microsoft Office 365 le 6 avril 2013

Le 6 avril 2013, Microsoft Live@edu pour l'éducation a fait l'objet d'une mise à niveau, effectuée par Microsoft, vers la nouvelle offre Microsoft Office 365 pour l'éducation. Votre compte email @ebs-paris est resté opérationnel durant cette mise à niveau qui s'est terminée avec succès vers midi. Après la mise à niveau, vous avez deux comptes distincts @ebs-paris.com avec les mêmes nom d'utilisateur et mot de passe que ceux utilisés pour accéder à Microsoft Live@edu pour l'éducation.

Si vous avez un problème d'affichage de la nouvelle page du webmail

En cliquant sur http://webmail.ebs-paris.com, vous serez redirigé vers la nouvelle page du webmail, celle d'Office 365. Si vous êtes toujours redirigé vers l'ancienne page du webmail, vous devez supprimer les cookies et vider le cache de votre navigateur web et cliquer à nouveau sur le lien du webmail.

Access through Outlook Web App webmail

Through Outlook Web App webmail, students, faculty, and staff can access their ebs-paris.com email account from any computer connected to the Internet, without an email client.

Connect to Outlook Web App webmail: http://www.outlook.com/ebs-paris.com or http://webmail.ebs-paris.com

Your Windows username is "firstnamelastname@ebs-paris.com". Your password will have been sent to you by the EBS administration.

Access through an email client

First you must configure the email client installed on your computer.

  • POP settings
    Server name: pod51013.outlook.com
    Port: 995
    Encryption method: SSL

  • IMAP settings
    Server name: pod51013.outlook.com
    Port: 993
    Encryption method: SSL

  • SMTP settings
    Server name: pod51013.outlook.com
    Port: 587
    Encryption method: TLS

If you are using Outlook 2007, 2010 or 2011, your account is configured automatically once you have entered your email address and password.

Forward your email to another address

It is possible to forward your email to the address of your choice. To do so:

  • Log in to your webmail account at http://www.outlook.com/ebs-paris.com

  • Click "Options/View All Options", then "Connected Accounts"

  • Under "Add a forwarding address", enter the desired email address and tick "Keep a copy of forwarded messages in Outlook Web App", then select "Start Forwarding"

WiFi Internet connection on EBS Paris premises

The EBS Paris premises have several WiFi access points. WiFi access is secured by a password given to each student. You must first configure your browser as explained in the appropriate document below:
